Viña Caeira is a pure Albariño. Made in Salvaterra de Miño, in the Condado do Tea, one of the five sub-zones covered by the Designation of Origin. The Finca Pesqueiras estate is located in the south of the province of Pontevedra, flanked by the Miño and Tea rivers. 20 year old vineyards with oceanic influence. Keep in a cool place. It is recommended to serve between 3 to 8ºC

Elaboration

Viña Caeira 2022 has been made with the minimum intervention necessary to respect the nobility of the small and compact clusters of the Albariño variety from Finca Pesqueiras. The harvest of this grape is manual in 12kg boxes, since the vineyard's own vineyard requires it. Slow fermentations, at low temperatures, to preserve the aromatic integrity of the grapes. After fermentation, it is aged on lees for approximately 4 months where the right balance between acidity, freshness and volume of the wine is acquired.

Pairing:

Sublime with Galician cheeses like those from Arzúa-Ulloa. Grilled scallops and razor clams or delicious estuary mussels. Fish surrender to wines like Viña Caeira: sea bream, turbot and cod. Perfect with Japanese food such as sushi and sashimi.
