Shipping policy

For purchases over 50 €, shipping costs within Spain (peninsular territory) are free. We do not ship to the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla.

Most deliveries to European countries are free for purchases over 150 €, with the exception of Cyprus and Malta, where this benefit does not apply. Switzerland and Liechtenstein are exceptions, because they are subject to customs duties at destination. And these are always charged to the customer, they are not included in the order. Please see the shipping costs below.

However, in the case of orders including 6 or more bottles, shipping charges will be applied throughout Europe, regardless of the destination.

For domestic and international shipments that do not fall into the above categories, we will apply the most convenient shipping rate according to the country and total weight of the products you have purchased. In this way, we guarantee that you will never pay more than necessary, and we can always assure you that the service will be provided by a reputable carrier with a guaranteed quality of service.

As you place your order, you will immediately see the associated shipping costs. In exceptional cases where customs clearance is required and this generates additional costs, either for the product or for administrative procedures, these costs will be the responsibility of the customer.


Shipping costs


On this screen you will see the shipping costs for your order depending on the shipping address you have indicated in the previous steps. Remember to accept the general conditions in order to process the order.

National (Peninsula only): shipping is free from 50 euros.

Shipping costs apply to each order. The exact costs of each order depend on the country of receipt. Under no circumstances will orders be sent to areas that are not included in the list of countries to which Enrique Tomás can ship its products.

International

International shipping costs may vary depending on the country and area and the weight of the order. The average shipping cost to Europe is around 20 Euros. If the order exceeds 150 euros, shipping is included, except in some countries listed below.

Countries with exceptions:

Switzerland and Liechtenstein: These countries charge customs fees for the import of meat. These Swiss customs charges/duties are paid by the recipient/customer. They are not included in the order and must be paid by the customer before delivery. For more information about the cost please consult the local authorities.

Other countries:

Any customs charges involved in importing to a European country will always be charged to the customer/consignee.

Cyprus, Malta, Ceuta and Melilla and the Mediterranean islands (except Balearic Islands), do not have the shipping costs included in any case.

Payment

The customer has several payment options to place his order. During the purchase process, you must select your preference among the following methods of payment:

- VISA or MASTERCARD credit card.
All transactions involving the transfer of personal or banking data will be carried out in a secure environment, using a server based on the standard security technology SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). All information you provide to us will travel encrypted over the network. In addition, your credit card details will be entered directly on the bank's website, at the bank's Point of Sale Terminal (POS), and will not be entered or stored on any ENRIQUE TOMAS SL server.

This payment method is available exclusively on the website.

In the event that a fraudulent or improper charge has been made on a purchase using a payment card number, the cardholder may request that the order not be processed, as long as the order has not left our warehouse. However, if the order has already been shipped from our warehouses, the procedure in these cases requires the customer to file a report with an official authority, which will then request the personal details that are presumed to be fraudulent. In all cases, compliance with the relevant legal provisions will be strictly adhered to.

However, if the purchase was legitimately made by the cardholder and the request for refund was not due to the exercise of the right of withdrawal or resolution, and, therefore, unduly involved the cancellation of the corresponding charge, the cardholder will be obliged to compensate ENRIQUE TOMAS SL for the damages caused as a result of such cancellation.

- Bank transfer
When you choose to make a bank transfer, you will receive, together with the confirmation of your order, an e-mail with the bank details of ENRIQUE TOMAS SL.

It is of the utmost importance that, when making the transfer, you include the order number and your name and surname in the subject line. Be sure to make the transfer within 3 days after the order confirmation date so that it can be validated.

If you prefer, you can send us the proof of the transfer by fax or e-mail to support@enriquetomas.com. However, please note that the order will not be considered effective until our administration department receives the bank confirmation of the transfer.

We remind you that payment must be made in EUROS and that any exchange commissions and additional bank fees will be borne by you.

In the case of bank transfers from outside Spain, it is essential that when ordering the transfer, you inform your bank that you are responsible for covering the commissions at source, i.e. bank charges and expenses related to your bank. Otherwise, ENRIQUE TOMAS SL may withhold the shipment of your order if we do not receive the full amount of your order.

Any exchange commissions and additional bank fees will be the responsibility of the customer.

- PayPal
PayPal allows you to make online payments securely and conveniently. Its network builds on existing financial infrastructure, such as bank accounts and credit cards, to provide a real-time global payment solution. PayPal provides a service designed especially for those who are dissatisfied with traditional payment methods.


In addition to providing a secure way to make online payments, PayPal offers worldwide online shopping and money transfer options. It also makes it easy to manage payments and transactions through an easy-to-use platform.

- Scalapay
If you make a purchase with Scalapay, you will receive your order and have the option to pay in 3 instalments. It is important to note that the instalments will be sold to and purchased by Retail Instalments SPV 1 Limited, as well as related parties and their beneficiaries. By making use of this service, you are giving unconditional and irrevocable authorisation and expressly consenting to this instalment purchase and sale transaction.

This payment method provides flexibility to buyers, allowing them to spread the cost of their purchase over convenient, predefined instalments. Scalapay manages these payments efficiently to ensure a satisfactory shopping experience.


Delivery
- Where and when
Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday. No deliveries are made on weekends or local holidays.


Orders can only be delivered to private homes or offices. Deliveries are made during working hours. For this reason, to facilitate the receipt of deliveries, we ask our customers to use their work addresses or other locations where someone is available to receive the order.


- Delivery time
Orders destined for the Spanish territory (Peninsula) are normally delivered within 1 to 2 working days of receipt. Once the order has been dispatched, the customer will receive an email notification which will include the estimated delivery date. In the case of orders placed outside Spain, the delivery period may vary and be between 3 and 5 working days from order confirmation.

It is important to bear in mind that these delivery times may be extended to between 12 and 24 hours if the order includes, for example, a sliced ham. This is because the ham is sliced at the time the order is received to ensure that the customer receives it practically freshly sliced and can enjoy it to the full.

During the second half of December, it is possible that the usual delivery times may double due to the high volume of daily orders we receive in the days leading up to Christmas.


- Checking on receipt
The customer should inspect the condition and contents of the package within a reasonable time after receipt to ensure that everything is correct and conforms to what was ordered. In the event that no communication of rejection of the products has been received within 7 days of delivery, Enrique Tomás will consider that the customer has accepted the delivery.

The availability of the products offered by ENRIQUE TOMAS SL may vary depending on customer demand. Although ENRIQUE TOMAS SL periodically updates the inventory, it is possible that the product requested by the customer is out of stock at that time. If a product cannot be delivered due to unavailability, ENRIQUE TOMAS SL will notify the customer of this situation by e-mail.


The deadline for this communication will in no case exceed 30 days maximum. ENRIQUE TOMAS SL will offer the customer the option of: providing a product of similar characteristics or higher quality at no additional cost, or, except for reasons justified and demonstrable by ENRIQUE TOMAS SL within this same period, refunding the sums paid for the cancelled order.
