A pack of Gran Reserva ham shoulder already fully sliced and vacuum-packed for those of you who prefer not to cut and have everything ready to eat wherever and whenever you feel like it. This is a piece of ham shoulder that has been previously boned in a traditional way and cut by machine to the maximum by our experts, once the bone, the rancidity and the remaining fat have been removed. A fantastic option to always have jamón in the fridge! The ham is entirely machine-sliced on request, by our experts.

This Sliced ready service of Paleta/ham shoulder Gran Reserva contains:

Approximately 2 kg of Jamón, cleaned and ready to eat.

  • - 16 sachets of ham shoulder slices of 80 gr.
  • - 4 packets of ham shoulder cubes of 80 gr.
  • - 4 packets of ham shoulder shavings of 100 gr.

Enrique Tomás Gran Reserva Ham Shoulder

Gran Reserva ham shoulder/paleta is obtained from the front legs of white Duroc, Landrace or Large White pigs, among others; pigs that are larger than Iberian pigs, with thicker, less stylised legs and hooves that are normally white, although this does not always have to be the case.

The pigs from which these paletas/ham shoulders are obtained, have been reared on farms and fed on natural feed, cereals and herbs, which explains their fine flavour. The curing process of this product takes a minimum of 18 months and follows the same guidelines as any other shoulder or ham. At Enrique Tomás we have the best quality shoulders which, as well as being offered whole, are also available sliced or boneless. We want to give you everything you are looking for!

Curing process for Gran Reserva Ham shoulder

The Gran Reserva ham shoulder has a curing process of approximately 18 months and it is longer than most of the curing processes of Serrano shoulder ham that you will find in the market. This is because our producers or cooks, as we like to call them at Enrique Tomás, dedicate the exact amount of time to each piece to ensure that its flavour is just what we are looking for.

Non-Iberian ham shoulders are ideal for daily consumption, as their aroma is mild and their price is affordable for all budgets, so you won't have to wait for a special occasion to treat yourself.
