Certain preserved, marinated or stuffed meats are called chacinas. The most common are marinated pork meats, from which cured meats and other sausages are usually made. They are also known by the same generic name to the sausages and preserves made with this meat. Finally, the same term also applies to cecinas, salted and dried meats.
