Melon with ham is a very refreshing dish that you can serve as a starter to any dish or that you can accompany with other dishes of the same style, as we have said.

Melon skewers with Jamón Serrano are a perfect dish to prepare at any time of the year, but do you want to know the trick to make them look amazing? At Enrique Tomás we share it with you!
If your Jamón is the Enrique Tomás Gran Reserva sliced Jamón, the first thing you have to do is open the sliced ham sachet and let the slices out of the vaccuum and get room temperature until they separate naturally from each other. Take advantage of this time to cut the melon into the typical slices. As soon as you have them ready, cut the rind off.
Now that you have the melon, cut it into cubes and put it in a bowl. If you see that the ham is ready, it is time to assemble the skewers.
You can do two things: either make skewers with different pieces of melon or put a single portion on each toothpick, we have opted for the first one.
Take a toothpick and alternate between melon and a bit of jamón, you can split each slice in two for example.
Once you have your melon and ham skewers ready, place them on a plate and enjoy!
