BOMBA RICE


Cultivated in the Iberian Peninsula since the Middle Ages and preserved by genetic selection at the Arrocera Station in Sueca (Valencia) since 1929. The production of Bomba rice is limited due to the delicacy of its cultivation. For many years, the cultivation and processing of this variety seemed extinct, but our company has always been committed to Bomba rice, processing it from its foundation to the present day.

It is a short-grain variety and has a pearly colour. Its size is equivalent to that of round rice, sometimes even smaller, but Bomba is more than twice as big when cooked.

Its main characteristics are its great capacity to absorb flavors and aromas, and that always remains its point, loose and whole.

These culinary excellences make it considered one of the best rice dishes in the world by expert chefs and it is called "King of Rice". Gourmet rice par excellence, we can find it in the best delicatessen establishments in the world.

Especially suitable for paella, arroz a banda, etc, although it can also be used for sweet and sour rice.
